In this video, Kyle takes on a new rebuild project of a poorly modified 2003.5 BMW M3 convertible that came in with a carbon fiber hood, OEM 18-inch wheels, and some worn interior components. Between repainting the hood to factory imola red, and installing a fresh set of avante grade m319 19 inch csl wheels, this car truly took on a new life.

Too many cars with CSL replicas. I have the OEM 18’s on mine and the look so much more purposeful with the deep dish and staggered look, plus the ride is so much better.

@@KyleSulkar taxes are expensive yes. Around 12%. The insurance is kinda expensive. I think for my e46 m3 I was paying roughly $200 cad/month so around 2400/year. But the problem here people want like 25k for a high mileage convertible $30k for a high mileage coupe. Insane prices. That’s cad but $30k would be what like 27k usd with 160k Km

E46 M3 did not have a motor revision at facelift! It was purely different rear lights and a slightly different HVAC panel inside.

The motor wasn’t changed but the bearings were updated around the same time as facelift.

I’ve had both convertible and coupe 6 spd mt The convertible is much heavier and slower. You can tell the difference but it sure is nice to drive on a nice summer breezy day. Plus the s54 sounds are amazing and amplified

No. Not hating. The market value on the convertibles are so low. Is it really worth the purchase price and a restore? I was really looking into purchasing a set of the Avant-Garde M359’s. The 10” really don’t fit the rear? At the end of the video you mentioned you were going to space out your rears 9.5’s with a spacer. I did not know they offered different width sizes.
