Reg, I started watching when you were building the shower area, since then, I’ve been continually gobsmacked at both your and Randy’s patience, skill set and determination to correct so many defects. She’s now a beautiful lady ready for the next adventure in your lives, and I like every other subscriber is looking forward to the adventures you want to share. I’d love to see her one day, though being in Australia, it might be difficult, but you never know what can happen. Thank you once again to both of you.

Hi, thank you for letting us follow your very interesting and informative channel it has been great to watch.I hope that in the future there will be some updates as to your sailing progress.A tip for storing part used tins of paint is to make sure the lid is sealed and store them upside down…no skin when you open the tin again.Cheers and best wishes for the future,Roly🇬🇧.

There's getting the boat to reliably float.... and then there's the rest. What's impressive is you still keep up the quality of the stuff needing to be done. I'm really looking forward to the sailing videos to come. How about we sponsor a drone? You are already a pilot.

I am looking forward to Sailing Josephine. I have followed your trials and successes since that first disastrous video. I will never forget the mast snapping on the dockside. Well done both of you: grit, resilience, self-reliance, deep resourcefulness, a great boatyard team and now, rich reward. You now have a much better, safer boat than would have been true had Josephine been 'OK'. I still hope some ruinous financial disaster has beset your surveyor for Josephine. Fascinating about the tablet GPS on cellular vs non-cellular! Safe sailing ..

I thoroughly enjoy your videos, thx. One comment/cautionary note. When re-arming the hydro switch, take note of the spring tension. I had a spring break and only found it because there was very little resistance when screwing the cap back on. It wouldn’t have activated in a dunking.

There is no need to replace the canister on the life jacket. It does not get old. You just weigh it to make sure it has the correct weight so it is still filled.

Bonjour Randy and Reg, I have not understood everything, is this actually your last video ? It is impossible, we have seen nothig about the engine starting, the sails, the navigation rules... How will we know if you are fine or not, problems encountered and solved and so on ? I know that you are not a movie maker but this amazing story can't stop like such ! Amicalement, Raphaël

I have used the garmin device on an old iPad, when I bought a new ipad from John Lewis I found that the sales assistant didn’t know about cellular iPads having GPS chip fitted, this is excellent info you have put out and hopefully will save anyone buying the wrong device. Lesson is know what you want and don’t rely on the shop 👍

The usual mode of failiure for those hydroswiches when they are too old is that they go off when they should not have. Very surprising for the person wearing the life jacket! They always go off when submerged no matter how old they are.

I imagine you could be both feeling a bit apprehensive about taking your life’s work out on the open sea despite the high quality of craftsmanship that ye have invested in Josephfine. I sincerely hope and pray that you can finally enjoy some worry free enjoyment at sea at last wherever you voyage! Fair sailing, SkipRay, Kerry, Ireland.

Boat owners and bridge painters have a lot in common. She is looking quite healthy. Survey and tribulations aside. ;) I am curious about Josefine's compass. R U planning on having it professionally swung (Calibrated to location) or do U feel comfortable swinging it yourself. With all of the contemporary Do Dads and upgrades that poor needle might not know which way is up. 🙃
