Making order out of chaos resets the control of a spinning mind. Extending a helping hand to someone in need not only calms thyself but also to the person/people whom the hand was extended to. Tyler you are among the few I follow that deserves all good things to come their way. Your question “ what makes YOU happy?” My personal answer is random acts of kindness. When I see or hear or do anything that helps anyone in any way, I’m happy. Watching what you do makes me happy, thank you Tyler. 💛

It makes ME happy to finish any work I start in the best way I can! From putting clothes away, keep the cupboards in order or cleaning up the trash from the beach. It doesn't matter how small or big a work is... as long as I do it RIGHT. It doesn't make me proud, it is just satisfying and makes me smile seeing the final result.😊❤

What makes me happy? Getting out into the garden, whether it be mowing or tending my flowers and vegetables. Being able to have the house smell of fresh flowers from your own garden while preparing a meal with home grown vegies is a great feeling. As I am my mother’s carer it also allows me to put headphones on and listen to a good book. Little things like that really are great for mental health.

Nice that the front is a place where a good mow and trim can make a big difference. Really liked your idea of using a lightweight mower to avoid damage to over-wet lawns. I can see you showed us "brick weeps", apparently a place where they deliberately did not put in mortar, to allow ventilation. Wasn't aware of that topic. Makes sense the vegetation will cut off the air flow if it gets thick and tall. The rescued plants did look nice in the new bed.

I'm pleased that you are spending more time on verbal commentary, & seem comfortable doing so now!---I wonder why there was a difference in the character of the grass, that one strip looked like there used to be a sidewalk under it.---You asked an inspired question about happiness. Lots of great responses. Me, I have a lifetime of accepting that one great pleasure does not negate many small miseries. I'm basically a gloomy person, really only happy when I was on-the-job, even tho' my nursing career was loaded with challenges.

You rock, Tyler! Great work. Looking forward to part 2. Again, this is my favorite day of the week! Happiness: Writing to my boys each day. I have carried on the tradition for seven years without missing a day. I write them each a letter about their day, some thoughts from me, and my hopes for them. It gives me comfort to know that they will have books to keep with them as they get older. The thought of seeing them flip through the thousands of pages for the first time gives me a sense of peace and purpose. I also find happiness in knowing that they have embraced faith in God. Life here is one thing...eternity is another. 🙂
