I agree 100%. Preston does some amazing work. If he can get his name out there and show his work to a larger audience, this man could make a killing. I've been following Preston from the start and I will honestly say that his workmanship is getting better all the time. You owe me ten bucks for that plug Preston. Mike.

47th! Preston, your skills and results have come a long way from years ago, when you first started. I saw all your work a couple of days ago, watching PFI SPEED VIDEO Brent has put out to show the results of the horrific explosion and flames Jamie drove through. Great job. Hey Preston You do awesomely amazing good work man. With the radiator, I've seen them brought back to life by cleaning in between the fins with cable ties. (That's zip ties for you lot 😂) So thanks for sharing the knowledge man ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.

Great restoration on everything man!! Just a heads up on wrinkles, don't bother wiping the lettering before it goes in for cure, it makes the powder around the letters uneven and it cures weird, Just sand them completly after like you did anyway, will keep the powder even

You got to watch out with parts that have heavy grease on them. You really should wash first then blast. That grease will get trapped in your media. Also, if you plan to pick up with cerakote, you should buy some legit stripper. I looked into it when I was doing cerakote and it was about 600 for a 30 gallon drum. Most sandblasters have problems removing modern powdercoats and paints. Its so much prep involved with doing it right.

You're getting really good at this Preston. I'm known for my sarcasm but I'm actually being sincere. I've been following you from the begining, I know, I have issues. What's your thoughts on the Cerakote ? It has a beautiful finish. How's the durability on exhaust pipes ? Does it discolor at all in hot spots or does it stay pretty consistent in color after so many heat cycles ? I can ask you questions like this knowing that you will give me an honest answer. Thanks brother.
@GARAGEIdiotS
@GARAGEIdiotS 12 күн бұрын
It’s meant to withstand 1800 degrees, no discoloring and if the prep was done right it should last for years
