I can remember back in the 1960's I would go to the Eastman House on Sunday afternoon and listen as a guest organist played that organ. Loved every minute of it.

I know this organ was silent for many, many years until recently and it's nice to know that it's being performed on fairly regularly now. I intend to go hear it one of these weekends. Keep up the good work!

In the mid 1990s I studied photographs preservation at the GEH. A woman played the organ about once a week as I recall. The sound was so beautiful, but the organ was needing a little work even then. To walk through the atrium while the organ was being played was one of the memorable treats of interning there. Thanks for posting...even if I didn't see this for a decade!

Thank you; I am an organ volunteer at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, Aeolian Opus 184 (55/III); at the time of installation it included the 116 note "semi-automatic" player in the console and the 176 note Duo-Art player located remotely. The Duo-Art player went missing in the 1960s, unfortunately, but the 116 note player runs very well. Your Duo-Art player should play 61 notes on each of two manuals for a total of 122 notes, the other perfs are for registrations and shutters. Is it working?

Does it play 116 note "semi-automatic" rolls?

They use to use a different lead in pipes then today. Is this correct? Well is the old lead they use to use still available if requested for a new pipe organ? Also, why is it such a secret to know the stop list of this organ? i looked all over for it online, and I can not find it.

Rich Butts. Ah sorry, I know he’s a volunteer, doing important work for a good cause, but funny is funny is funny.

I'm pretty sure it's a theme from Wagner's Tannhäuser
