Restoring Wedding Rapunzel Barbie (2005) 👑✨

Hello Fellow Doll / Toy Lovers and Collectors!
Today I will take you on a little thrift doll make-over ride! I found a pre-loved Wedding Rapunzel Barbie with some very wild hair. I'm obsessed with the Princess Collection from the early Y2K era so this was such a great find for me!

Omg what a transformation I find using flea combs like you’d use on a dog with close together metal bristles really good for brushing out super matted doll hair it doesn’t pull a lot of hair out you did a beautiful job

Their hair is a total mess just like your princess. I have used your tips to make their hair so pretty. The conditioner and boil wash make all the difference. Thank you so much!!e. I love seeing dolls being restored to their former glorious beauty. Great job! And in the US that line was called fantasy tales and yes they were all so pretty! It was a nice cheaper way to get the movie dolls for those of us that were poor growing up 😂 I actually just got her and the wedding stefan as a set off mercari last year. Luckily they were collector owned and had been kept in a display cabinet so they were in perfect condition. Rapunzel still had her bouquet, veil and shoes! Also the crown does come off of mine. Maybe that's a US variation? But it does leave a big hole in her head so I maneuvered her hair over the hole it plugs into so it stays covered when the crown isn't on.

@@Barbination you're welcome 😊. It just pulls out. It wasn't locked down or anything. There was actually velcro on it which is what made me think it could come off. I styled her hair the way it is for the masquerade ball in the movie and it hides the hole perfectly.

Great Job! She looks so pretty! I had the « regular » Barbie as Rapunzel doll. I still have it, but I cut her hair during my scissors craze period (I know). I didn’t expect the commercial at the beginning to be in French!

Well I should’ve mentioned that I especially use it on white clothing items! 😅 It won’t bleach colored pieces though but better just use normal detergent for colored pieces 🥰💖

Hello, Arjen! You performed magic on Rapunzel’s lovely tresses and wedding outfit! Watching your process is strangely relaxing-maybe because you’re doing all of the work. 😆 You explained the importance of how to curl the hair with warm water and how to shock it with very cold water-interesting and new to me. Now Rapunzel is all set for her prince 🤴. I wanted to also tell you that the Advent Christmas Barbie you mentioned in a new doll video a while back is going up for sale on the Mattel Creations website tomorrow (October 3) for anyone with a membership-and for everyone else in a few more days. They aren’t showing any photos of the doll or all of the accessories like you showed, but enough to know that it is the doll you told us about. I am hoping to order this before it sells out-crossing my fingers! It goes up for sale at noon New York time. That’s my time zone. Hopefully you can get her, too! I sure hope you read this in time! Were you able to order the doll? I hope so! As a true Barbie aficionado, you would cherish her. 🥰 I just ordered her-only one. $160 US is a hefty price. Wouldn’t you know? Fifteen minutes before the doll went on sale, the plumber came to fix a faucet, and he had to walk around the pullout couch/bed because my mother (who has dementia, and who I take care of in my home) was still sleeping. She refused to get out of bed because she said she didn’t sleep last night! So, despite the weird circumstances of this day, the charming holiday Barbie is on the way. 😊👍🏼👠🎄 Best regards (and best of luck ordering!)!

Wow she was truly Tangled 🤣. These dolls are stunning really worth having, I have the original Barbie Rapunzel with the Mackie face( is it mackie?) Well I got a double also, rerouted her with really long kanekalon hair (its on my insta, did a whole picture story for VD), took me forever not just rerrooting her but had to straighten the kinks out of the textured hair, my arms almost fell off! I was in pain for a couple of days, but so worth it. Now you did an AMAZING JOB, she looks brand new, well done she looks so beautiful! Looking forward to more Princess Barbie makeovers. 🥰💖✌💜
