Can you explain on how the legal side of it goes as long as figuring out how to split the money with your business partners, and how you figured out how it works with putting in 50% of the money and getting paid as if you were putting in 100% of it even though physically or on paper you put only 50% of it? That parts confused me, I'd LOVE to know how you get that worded up in a contract. Do you work with a lawyer or lawyers to create your contract or ironclad contracts?

With just gravity, you put a hose in the back toilet as it is draining. Gets it all out.

They vary on size, capacity, features, quality and luxury (which luxuries would fall under features). Mine is a 16ft long and 10ft tall with men's and women's rooms. 2 stall women's room, 1 stall and 1 urinal men's room. Both rooms have vanities, stall partitions, faux granite tops. It is equipped with a 450 gallon waste tank, 140 gallon fresh tank, a/c and heat hvac, wall heaters, waste tank heater and trailer brakes. Mine is 6k pounds empty. Cost difference from this unit in the video is a little over $30k. Minor truck modifications to the suspension were needed, because I own a chevy 1500 3.0 duramax diesel. The trailer is quite a bit forward heavy, which means more tongue weight. I added an air bag system to level the squat of the truck which also levels the trailer. The unit in the video is probably in the 3k-3500 weight range at the most.

You travel with waste in the trailer? The manufacturers highly recommend against that. Mine holds 450 gallons. While, it will rarely reach that limit, that is a lot of weight that creates more wear and tear during transport, to the trailer and the tow vehicle.

Yes we do. I know what they say, but I’m not getting a septic company to go to every site. We have not had any issues, but I know that we could one day. The more people you talk to in this business you’ll find that most transport it back to the warehouse.

No. These are not Ada compliant and they don’t have to be. It’s not on us to provide it, it’s on the event holder. If they need to provide it they need to find the solution. Usually it’s an Ada porta pottie. You can buy Ada trailers but they are way more expensive to buy.

Not needed. I’m not the venue. It’s not our responsibility. They make Ada ones if needed. But like I said, not our responsibility. If a business is renting it they have to have a solution. Backyard events Ada would not apply. I’m never the person throwing the party. Just supplying things that are ordered.

Not exactly sure who would use it, but it does have air conditioning. I advertise on Facebook, and people find it on my website when searching for Party rental companies. I think craigslist is a bad place to be looking for these advertised. Check to see if any local Party rental places have them in inventory

When you write a quote for an event planner and they don’t get back to you.. Do you follow up? How do you know if you’re priced too high ?

I will follow up 2 weeks later. I know I’m high by doing the research of pricing around me. If if not listed I’ll call up, or have someone else call saying we are planning to do an event next year. Not sure what we need. Can we get a price list emailed over. If I’m calling I give them a non business email.

I would follow up with them and let them know that you have been doing some price research and might be high. I’ve heard of companies doing an 8%-10% commission at end of year. That way they will rent from you, pass the cost onto their customer and then get the commission.

The same. All our prices are for the day they need it. We just deliver before the event and pick up sometime after to make it easier on us and them. If a place has same day in/out requirements we actually add $50-$100 more because of the inconvenience. Having people not able to do other jobs during that time or possibly having to wait around.

It’s typically on private property in back yards. Not an issue. Otherwise, customer is going to pay for the cleaning.

When you say you make $1000, does that mean you drop it for an entire weekend or just for a 1 day event?

We drip it off for the weekend but it’s for a one day event. The customer died mot need to be worried all morning in the day of their event if it’s coming or not so we deliver 1-2 days ahead. Makes everything easier. They can only use it during their event otherwise they will run out of water and we will charge them a bunch to come out and empty the waste and refill the fresh.
