"ADVANCED" CSING TIPS; - Don't be afraid to use spells to get that creep. A lot of new/weaker players I see often have this problem. Granted I'm not saying use spells 100% of the time, but I think a good number to look at (obviously depending on your champions mana costs as well) would be 20% of the creeps you kill to be via spell cast, and sure, you might run out of mana and not be able to trade in lane, but you can always just play passively. What you can't always do is gain that 20 gold you just lost because you were concerned about your mana. Again, it's very relative, and knowing when to and when not to will come with experience. But in my opinion if you know you can't kill that minion with an auto attack but can with a spell, cast away! (example - You auto attack a minion that will die, but you also see an adjacent minion that is about to die, so after your auto attack comes out you cast a spell to effectively kill two minions with 1 AA 1 spell cast) - Try to account for minion projectiles/damage. One thing I've learnt after spending a lot of time csing, is that paying attention to your caster minions projectiles, helps csing immensely as caster minions do quite a lot more damage than melee minions and once you're experienced at paying attention to their attacks, you can also gauge when said projectiles are going to hit the enemy creep, and if multiple casters are focusing a single creep, you will know exactly when to put your auto attack in between the incoming projectiles. If this helped you in any way, please give it a thumbs up so others can see, as these tips would've helped me an assload if I saw them in a video as opposed to learning them through years of gameplay.

@te1apartes9 жыл бұрын
Jeroen Verschaeve Damn that was some terrible spelling for my part, sorry, What I meant to say is that if you AA one of the melee minions in the first and second wave your minions will star to push and once they die at tower the enemy minions will have more casters on their side making them push, so around the sixth wave or so you'll have about 2 waves of minions at your tower. All of this taking into account you only last hit using AA.

For all Yasuo players that want to get better at CS'ing or lane control but still doing good harass, here's a tip: - Practice not using Q too much to last hit since this is a sign for your opponent that you want to harass and be vulnerable a gank. - Get oppertunities to use your E+Q combo to get CS and harassing your laner when you know your laner can't counter-harass. - If you can, use your tornado Q to get CS. The tornado isn't there just for harass. - If you want to last hit using your E, max it first and learn to use it to dodge skillshots while last hitting the minion. - Don't push in a wave when you're behind since this will often cause for a successful gank for the enemy. - If ahead, repeat these steps but use your Q more often to harass instead of CS'ing. - If your opponent zones you out but doesn't have any skillshots, you can use your W to freeze the wave. This is done by placing the wall between the caster minions and not last hitting them. Hope these tricks help you.

Oor just don't play Yasuo :D
@sirjellybean90268 жыл бұрын
Juwan Bantug Yea I started maxing E instead of Q after I noticed exactly what you mentioned about being vulnerable to a roam or jungle gank when using Q alot. although I start Q to catch the first 3 melee minions at the same time and then do the same with casters if their evenly chunked, throw nado at second wave and kill the minion you chunked most and now you have E. This works alot because the enemy doesn't exoect your quock level 2 harass. they will hit 2 if you don't time it well with their minion wave. anyway thanks for the tips ;)

When having problems with CSing, take Savagery instead of the Movement speed in the Masteries. That said, I do know that I'm always keeping an eye on my and my opponent's creep scores.

... Yeah? So? Anyone can. The point is not to HAVE to. Everyone is bad when they start. He went into practice so he could get better BEFORE he plays a game. He could have gotten the same results by, say, playing ADC exclusively for a few weeks, and specifically focusing on last hitting, but that would take longer, you'd be less concentrated and motivated, and you'd still be bad for the first several games. To people who actually *want* to get *good*, training is a necessity, and a few hours of "boredom" means nothing.

I remember that I really suck as Tyrendemere but after a few custom game session (and a few rage quits) I manage to get some what better with his mechanics and his core item build. You may not gaining IP or XP in the end, but at least you doesnt ruin other players experiance

Colin Myers I don't get it. I get really nervous playing jungle, I guess it's because I'm new to it. I play amumu and my best game was 16/2/17. I can become a god late game if im doing good, but early game I kind of get lost after red buff and sometimes I end up feeding or not helping the team. I usually try to gank a lane were enemy is not in turret or get wraiths or golems if that's not possible. I get really confused so I tell my teammates to ping if they are in desperate need of a gank. I also gank if I can get me or my laner a kill to make things easier. Just recently did I start buying sightstones and smiting wolves if I think someone is at my blue. I just think the routes are confusing sometimes and I always second guess myself when ganking meaning that I decide it's not a good idea after already revealing myself.

I actually like this series a lot. Another good drill for CSing is to do any of the 5 drills with a champ whose auto attack animation sucks: Soraka, Karthus, etc. If you can CS with these champions' auto attacks you will most likely be a very good CSer.

My csing naturally improved with frequent custom games with AP champs and raising 2 smurfs, I decided to save my IP for tier 3 runes so I pretty much had 6 tier 1 runes until level 20. Playing loads of ARAM helps the most imo, more competition for cs forces you to take note of how quickly minion hp drops

It's a good way to practice your mechanics, though you shouldn't be too hard on yourself. While getting better with your base mechanics will help improve your csing, you shouldn't expect yourself to regularly hit 95% cs unless you are regularly playing a role in which you are trying to cs. If you frequently play support or jungler and aren't concerned with last hitting, then 85% is actually rather respectable. If you're looking to improve so you can play positions ADC more often, then yes, this practice is good, keep at it and you should hit that magic number in due time.

because techies has the animation and projectile speed comparable to that of Annie, and damage is 60% of the normal amount every other heroes have. Besides, last hitting in DOTA2 is already harder than in LoL, due to the fact that your hero damage is only about 1/14 of the creep's HP, while in LoL you deal about 1/9 or 1/10 of the creep's max HP at level 1

Best way to get better at csing : Move to the West Coast. East Coast: 80-120 ping, West Coast: 15-45 ping. Those people that say getting used to the ping does anything, it helps, but it still fucks up your cs sometimes.

A diamond buddy of mine told me that how he got used to csing was that every day he played, before his first match he'd warm up in a custom match by himself of 10 minutes csing without lane pushing. He wouldn't use his moves because he reserved those for poking. He would aim to break 100 cs in 10 mins while lane freezing the whole time. Great way to build the skill and 10 minutes a day is much more doable than a 10 hour grind!
@Alexios-Odysseas_Flogeras9 жыл бұрын
Ummmm why did you practise with adc? They are the easiest role to cs with. Try practising with someone like pffffI don't know Karthus maybe? That's the real challenge and how you are going to get perfect at csing.

This will definitely improve your game play. One thing to think about when you are csing is to look less at the minions hp and more at where the minions are attacking. Timing it with the attacks of the minions. The closer to hitting them when the casters hit the minions. The slower you will push the lane as well as the easier it will be to freeze the lane effectively.

some tips i find rly useful is to pay attention to the caster minions projectile and the cannon minion (melee minion "not so much" because they are weak as hell) to know which of your minion is going to take the dmg (and probably die)so you are able to plan through which minion to atk first when there are multiple low health minions
@arsgrimori35922 жыл бұрын
Another good drill might be farming 2v1. In the bot lane the enemy push can be even stronger because both support and adc apply damage to minions. Being able to use spells to de-push and being able to farm under tower when enemy push is too strong is a good way to carry yourself through games with passive supports (speaking of low elo)

Ok so this is a great thing to do, and I need to do it for sure, considering my laning cs consists of not even 50%, as I am heavily reliant on my ravenous or stattik to wave clear quickly, however I've been told to do these steps but without runes r masteries, and then equip them ingame, this apparently (there's no apparently, this is concrete) improves your cs as your used to requiring more effort to get your last hits in, that when your ad or attack speed are suddenly buffed, even slightly, it becomes super easy to last hit as you have a bit more leniency as long as your still trying to hit as if you have less ad, so let's say with no runes/masteries, your dealing 50 damage and getting 95% cs, when you equip your runes/masteries your dealing 75 damage, meaning you have an extra 15 damage leniency, normally increasing your vs to 100%, I hope this makes sense if not I just wasted a whole lot of time =^.^=
@raphius37147 жыл бұрын
If your complaining hes not csing against an enemy you miss the point. It's training. You don't train in a competitive environment, you compete in a competitive environment. Training ///// THEN /////// competition.

thats some great dedication man! when i try to practice csing, i go with no runes, items or masteries and try to freeze as best as i can, only using auto attacks. problem is, in the first 2-3 minutes, 2 caster minions do much more damage than you do, so u might have to use abilities. i cant go much more than 85% at best, but i guess i should practice more.

I've never practiced CS-ing. I'm plat 2 right now, continuing to climb steadily, and I've never had an issue with CS. Normally if I'm top lane I have the largest CS in the game. If I'm ADC I have competitive CS compared to first place, if not First in the game as ADC. It is all just about timing how much damage your minions do and when to attack, WHILE doing as many actions inbetween last hits. (Shooting an Ezreal Q, Graves Q, idling back and forth) Keep your actions per minute high. The mechanics will come to you.

I remember back then in Dota, people would go mid with Shadow Fiend, no items no skills, and farm for 5? 10? minutes? dont remember the specifics. Last hitting was probably the most important for Shadow Fiend, and if you know his skill necromastery (tldr: bonus damage for each "soul" he gets, gets a soul from a successful last hit). You start off with around 27 base damage. The standard creep at that level does 30+? So yeah, starting off with that challenge was hard because you get out damaged by creeps. Although its pretty nice to see a similar concept adapted in League.
