Imagine being a newcomer to Atlanta and trying to figure out why our team is called the 5 stripes. Then having to explain to them that back when it was championship team the colors were red with black stripes. And then the painful memories flood back in and you start babbling incoherently that immediately makes the newcomer wonder what the heck ever possessed them to move to Atlanta.

The Current home kit has 5 stripes and the logo/badge has 5 stripes. The motif is everywhere in our branding. The away kit constantly rotating design concepts and color schemes is a common occurrence in soccer around the world.

This has to be a child or teenager based on the last part of that statement.. you do know that five strikes is just a nickname that the fans have given to the teams actual name "ATLANTA UNITED FC" or AUFC aka Five Stripes. SMH
