Redgate: If you are every in the market to buy cast iron cook ware, there is a small town just across the TN line from you, named: South Pittsburg, TN. There is a Lodge Cast Iron outlet store located there and they have everything Lodge makes. Even if you are not buying now, when you have some time go check them out. OAG

Hello Ginger and thank you for your encouraging words. I started making these videos to preserve my own experiences and knowledge on how I garden, can and cook vegetables. I receive many comments from younger people who say they wish their parents or grandparents would have taught them to grow a garden, my reply to them is: That is what my KZbin channel is all about, that is, to help you grow some of your own garden vegetables. So, you are right that I share my education with all who want to learn about growing and preserving food. I am 79 years old and will continue gardening and making videos as long as my health allows me to. Thank you for watching my videos. OAG

Donna, the owners of the fence might let you did up some of the bulbs and move them to your property. The worst thing they would say is, no. and you won't know until you ask them. Or you could offer to exchange $5 for a few bulbs and it would still be a good bargain for you. And, yes, to make "start to finish" videos as I do with my gardening videos, takes time because I have to wait for the various stages to come and go. Thanks for watching my videos and commenting here. OAG

I just learned of these 2 years ago when my dad's neighbor gifted me with some on a visit back home. I have 4 of them blooming in my backyard right now. He calls them "Magic Lilies". They are so pretty. I had a TON of greenery this spring but only 4 blooming now. I wonder if maybe I have them all too crowded. I know there are at least 30 bulbs in there.

If you have 30 bulbs in one planting hole, then, yes I would remove some of them and plant them in a different place. OAG

What a great flower and even better family history and pictures! We’re you Military and stationed over there? My Dad was a squid before his Air Force days and he was stationed at Yokosuka. You make a lovely couple. Thanks for showing us your Wedding photos! Your wife is beautiful.

Hi Debbie. This is the easiest flower to grow. Just plant the bulbs and leave it alone. After a couple years you can dig up the bulbs and replant them separated a little and it will make more. About where do you live? OAG

I was a little bit concerned about using that title, but it really is the common name for these flowers. Thanks for commenting. OAG

What a treat to see your wife, and to see your wedding picture close up (have noticed it on the fridge in the background), You're a striking couple and look very happy! Did you plant all the flowers, or did they naturalize? Do they grow from a root or a bulb?
@OldAlabamaGardener
@OldAlabamaGardener 6 жыл бұрын
Hi Denise, these flowers do grow from a bulb and will over time spread to fill in. Yes, they are a great flower for naturalizing because they require no care. And thank you for your kind words. OAG

Hello LMH, and welcome to my videos. You can do a Google search on Resurrection Lilies and find many places to buy the bulbs. Once you plant them, you won't need to do anything else, they will grow and multiply. OAG

Rosie: These are the most easy flowers to grow. Plant the bulbs and you can almost forget about them. A little compost or composted manure would help them. OAG
