you get the crafting crystal when you already have the item that was supposed to be delivered in your bags. (of course they won't tell you what item it is, so i recommend cleaning out your inventory regularly) ^^

I swear, my retainers always return, not with stuff like that, but with house walls and roofs. Same with half my FC. We always question whose house they stole them off of and how do we get the walls or roof back on before the old used-to-be owners return to their lone roof on a lawn or toppled in walls.

I have gotten hingan roof, walls, carpet, fat cat couch. I purposely have a retainer called housing item and its packed with everything. Roof, walls, chandelier, flooring, chairs, indoors and outdoors items. And i sell items every now and then for extra cash. 😅

re the description: most of my retainers bring back the usual Random Leveled Gathering Item™ since i'm trying to get every minion from explorations but one time my g'raha retainer came back w/ the calfskin rider's cap :] (that's the baseball cap looking thing!!) was super happy with that one since i'm broke LMAO (he also really likes bringing me pieces from the ilvl 570/590 tomestone sets)
