The problem is that watching a single retals video as a bronze instantly makes you rank up to silver, and the second gets you to gold. So that's why there are no bronzes in your audience and barely any silvers.

in rocket league 1v1s there's a psychological trap of conceding in order to win the next kickoff. allowing a goal can tilt your opponent. my point is that kickoffs are neutral ... unless you can't boost. kickoff anxiety is another idea i pulled out my ass. i'm amazed by your resolve knowing that every time you score you will be put into a completely losing position. i also noticed you boost early in the video before you mentioned it couldn't be unbound.

18:50 the reason for this is because the distributions are different compared to 2s. I'm C2 in 1s and GC2 in 2s, and the opponents' 2s ranks are anywhere between C3 and GC3.

The biggest problem I had was that when I got to c2-c3, a lot of my teammates didn’t believe that I had gotten there without boost, and thought I was throwing the game, so they started throwing or stopped playing.

5:29 I've tried this myself a couple years ago (was low GC at the time, still am but slightly higher) and was able to go 50/50 boostless against low Diamond 1s players, which would be like C1 in terms of 2s MMR. I reckon you can beat a GC1 player anyway, if not a GC2 if you play it correctly.

For finding ppl of the right rank the only rank u need to worry abt is 2s. The ones ranked is always 2-3 ranks lower up until ssl. A gc3 in 2s and gc1 in 1s is better than 90% of gcs

Honestly think the diamond would beat him. They’re kinda speedy and are starting to have a solid grasp of the basics. Plus you can just go for aggressive demos since retals would probably have a hard time dodging them since he lacks a quick way to gain momentum. Even just making him jump would make recoveries difficult. I’ll be even more shocked if he beats the champ which is where he definitely loses and my prediction for the video.

I’m peak in 1s is gc2 div 4 and 2s 1850, two games off ssl and did this with arsenal and it was a one goal game. They are almost perfect with everything they want to do and its much harder than it looks, I honestly doubt champ at any level would win and thats saying something because I constantly smurf my buddy to gc and hes c1, c3s are just fast but not really a rank i think can beat retals

I'm at 5:58 (lol) I think if you play a diamond that will start tilting and can't regain composure you'll win. However, if that diamond starts to adapt to your 0 boost play style and can play smart but somewhat aggressive, I feel like they might win.
