as a 1s main in d2 /d3 I regularly beat GC and GC2 2s players in 1s. Most are just not consistent with the arial mechs and I get just as many walk-ins as they get outplays. Add in a couple of flakes cuts and your good! it does lead to a lot of "your track" of course when you win without mechs but what's new.

He might not be as mechanical as he is on controller, but he's a pro and has very strong gamesense. It is expected that he'd do well even if on a different input, like Lethamyr with his series of using random controllers.

I always thought the idea of challenging people 1v1 for $5 a person. If they lose, it doubles. If no one beats you by the end of the duration (however long you choose), then you donate all the money to a charity. Then if people lose their $5 buy ins, then it goes to a good cause.

I have played rocket league my whole life since 9 years ago on keyboard and mouse. i can't remember when exactly but around season 14(before epic takeover) grand champ. i have focused on the foundations Retals talks about as much as i can and since i think ive mastered it to a degree i chose to learn mechanics too. because i noticed by mastering my foundations it gave me more chances on the ball than my opponents while also more boost. so i now perfected playing the aerial play (for example like an air dribble to finish with flip reset scoop) because this can do 2v1s while the first opponent is boost starved and the 2nd opponent u place the ball somewhere they can't reach and then it's a pass for ur teammate where both enemies are stuck in net. i just rinse and repeat this exact process Retals demonstrates. sadly i quit the game because of studies but got back to it and hit GC1 in the new epic games one but cud easily be GC2. everything Retals says and teaches is so perfect and Jack and him are masters at that foundation and that is why i have become a pretty good player myself.
