I think it is great shame that many European countries ban certain songs from certain eras because they are not "political correct" in todays world situation, I am glad that Japan maintains a certain degree of respect for its past, nothing is greater crime than to bury history because it is not political correct in modern politicians eyes.

I am Japanese and I respect European culture, however it is very sad to see western people denying their culture today because of barbaric left wing movements. If you are European, do not surrendre your tradition and pride.

@@masa34632 Pfff, the Capitalist right wing and centre Liberals are who annihilated our culture, they let American pop culture and other heinous trash into our country and destroyed everything. When Socialist countries like East Germany were upholding German and Prussian traditions when West Germany was abolishing them. Socialist Romania was upholding many traditions some thousands of years old and after restoring Capitalism in Romania these traditions are dead. Look at North Korea, they maintain traditional dances, music and even clothing, also their language has VERY little foreign influence in it, they make new Korean words for new things like TV or computer. So you telling me "Socialists" are to blame? We upheld tradition and culture more than anything else. And as Japanese you never had a "left wing" government in power, who are you gonna blame for all these Japanese loan words you have, and American trash music making its way into Japan and destroying everything. American business is buying your movie industry and ruining it.

@@SMGJohn Hey I am not blaming Communism or Socialism, I am against liberalism and globalism from the US which deny traditional culture. I love how DDR and DPRK hold their culture.

@the sewer pig Nothing is perfect, Czechoslovakia is a good example how not to behave in regards to culture, they destroyed many respectable buildings in their city to make way for motorways under Socialism, going along with western European trend of making big roads everywhere for cars. Also DPRK got rid of forced marriage and caste elements from before Socialist era, this can be considered ruining tradition, but in a moral sense, its a good thing, bad tradition must be rid of and only maintain good tradition, in my opinion.

@the sewer pig China today is hardly Communist, if you are talking about the cultural revolution, I will have to tend to agree, there is way too much to tear apart about the cultural revolution to be written here, even Mao himself agreed the cultural revolution was a failure.

Japan never had it better. World War II was a great tragedy for all concerned, including the "winners". It should have been avoided.
