How do you like this form of two makeups in one video? Should I do it more often? What do you think? :)

I love it that you just took out the shades that pissed you off. I ended up depotting all my palettes and got rid of any shades that pissed me off. Only kept shades I truly loved ❤

I don't do that often tho. Most of the time I remember which shades are troublemakers or I know how to tame them or use them in only specific way. These were just nude shades tho and in almost every Nabla palette there is dark brown so it's little loss. Sometimes I keep even those bad eyeshadows until I find better shades -that's what happened with my Subculture palette. Some shades were super patchy, but until I found similar enough shades I kept it. Depotting palettes is cool! I especially like to make my own layouts from these single eyeshadows :D

Love the two looks in one video! If I'm just messing around with makeup and having fun, I always do a different look on each eye.

I did that a lot at the begining of my makeup adventure :D Now it's rare (I rather to do makeup charts), unless I really want to practice something.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 They pissed me off so I took them out 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Gawd, I didn't take the shade out, but there is a shade like that in one of my Juvia's place palettes. I took a sharpie and blackened out the shade name so that I would remember to never use it again! I die, so funny 🤣🤣🤣 ok ok, i have to finish watching....lol

Heavy heavy heavy...you don't have to.. but you can 🤣 Perfect! You are cracking me up today. Love both, especially the method you used for the halo eye. Made the blend so good by doing the bridge after the corners. Totally going to try that tomorrow!

It was like this - I am spoiled by current Nabla quality, so when I was using Secret palette I was totally forgetting about those shades and then basically either dark brown spoiled my makeup or that champagne one wasn't shiny enough so I had to add shade from different palette or highlighter anyway. Usually I remember which shades are troublemakers in the palette, but those ones were just nude and it's so rare to have issues with nude eyeshadows, I couldn't remember this fact, so I just removed them. No eyeshadow in the palette - no problem - no mistakes :D With the bridge you can do either way - before or after corners - there's no difference really, especially if you go back and forward between shades you used to blend them together (using these shades or just dirty brushes - technique I call "sandwich"). Usually I indeed blend bridge after corners, because usually I start from the darkest or the one before the darkest shades and go through medium to the lightest shades.

It's a good idea, taking out shades you dont like. I will go months without visiting a pallete and totally forget which shades are pesky. Like you, I finally had it with that one shade...I wont forger again, dammit! xD. And yes, I need to use the sandwich method. I have yet to be happy with any halo eye I have attempted. My blend has never looked as good as this you showed today. I thought it was just stunning!! Red is my favorite eyeshadow, sooo looking forward to the next video!! Thanks again, Ewa!

In this case I'll try to remember about some spotlight/halo eye tutorial in the future (maybe when testing a palette). In fact, it doesn't appear very often on my channel. Last time I did such makeup for Christmas.

You look absolutely stunning in both soft and deeper looks!! And HOW do you suit both spotlight shadow and graphic liner? :O I really look forward to the red looks, will there be a softer version of that too?
@EwaMakeupArtist3 жыл бұрын
The idea for the red one is still in my head - changing :D It will be only one version and I gravitate towards evening version. In 2020 I recorded also 2 different makeups and one is red and I think it's soft? Although I guess it depends from the preferences really. The title of the video starts with "TWO VALENTINE’S DAY MAKEUPS with Blood Sugar".
