Super stuff! Look forward to seeing more of your videos

Imagine how amazing our vision would be if the retina were round the right way. Because everything we see is blurry and red, as a result of the light passing through all that garbage and blood before it gets to hit a rod or a cone. We'd probably be able to read street signs at a kilometre.

Thank you for the video Mr. Khramtsov. I am also a software developer and I started getting interested in neuroscience. What would your book and/or resource suggestions be for someone without a neuroscience or biology background?

I don't have much biology background either. I just googled around for a good textbook, and landed on Fundamental Neuroscience. Now I'm just making my way through it, and googling A LOT as I go. It was very slow at first (esp through the biochem sections), and a bit faster now. Though really, it's no different from learning a new framework, except when I search for things, I land on random wiki articles and scientific papers instead of StackOverflow.
