I retired at that age with slightly more last year. One bedroom apartment, keep my expenses as low as possible. The things I like to do don't cost anything or are very inexpensive. I could be forced back into work if things change, but work was going to kill me soon. I would feel better if I owned a home, but looking at my finances years ago I determined to focus only on retirement. Being willing to relocate, work part time, go back to full time work for a while, are all options. Dying at my desk early wasn't an option.

Work part time and you can definitely retire with Social Security 🎉

Ive known people that retire with 50k in savings so over 200k is definitely more than doable

Thailand,Mexico etc. definitely doable…..live like a king/queen with 225,000 and good cheap healthcare.
