if you want to find a cheaper, more peaceful place with less noise and pollution, then there is the countryside between Da Nang and Hoi An. Explore it. Da Nang is a wonderful city, with sea, mountains and located between 2 world heritage sites.

Opening shot looks like the GC. Wow, that place looks like it's worth a visit.

@Landofsmiles999 It is an awesome spot. Will be like the Gold Coast in 10yrs with all the development. Get over there before it gets crazy. Super laid back at the moment. Cheers

Just sitting in a carpark South side of Brissy working on the PC. Raining, and still dark (5 30am). You and Lene have a great life Simon.

Vung Tau is similar, beach is nice too, more laid back, it’s easy access to Saigon and it’s cheaper!

@roygoad2870 cheers mate, we have been to Vung Tau. We climbed the 800 stairs to the Monument up on the hill and had a great clam dish with lemon grass for lunch. Just checking some other options. Heading to Phan Thiet, 3hrs north of HCM in a couple of weeks to check out that beachside vibe. Thanks mate

Thanks Quan, I've heard the monsoon season can get crazy with major storms and strong winds. Definitely something to consider. Cheers
