I believe the 1st question that you should be asking is "can you afford to retire?" Next is health. Otherwise every question after that else is meaningless.

Financial readiness is definitely one of the most important factors when considering retirement. Health is a close second because without it, the quality of your retirement can really be impacted. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

I made a similar video. Mine is shorter. Only 1 question. Can I afford to retire. Seriously, if you can afford to cut back to working 2 days a week (instead of 5, 6, 7) That is a nice option. That's what I did, and I feel totally retired.

Hi Kevin....thanks for checking out my video. I will check out yours as well. Personally, I'm not sure if I will ever completely retire. I still like what I do, but it would certainly be nice to have work be a little more optional.

@@KevinGrolig I was joking about my video (although I do have 2 videos on KZbin for my entertainment business at KEVIN HAYS DEMO and at KEVIN HAYS CHRISTMAS SHOW. You may want to mention to potential retirees, that if they take Social Security at age 62 and continue to work, they can only make a certain amount (18K last time I checked) and then they get hammered with extra taxes. If they work after age 67, no extra taxes on income. And of course, the long they wait to take SS, the more they will make.

Simple if you can retire without using your SS benefits until you are 70 then NO you shouldn't retire. Just that simple.

That’s a solid strategy for sure! Waiting until 70 maximizes those SS benefits, It’s all about balancing finances and lifestyle goals!
