Thank you for clicking on this video! Today we take a ride on Burlington Transit's oldest, a 2010 New Flyer D40LF 7048-10. This order (7046-10 to 7053-10) is the last order of D40LFs ordered by Burlington Transit, and these are the last D40LFs ever produced. These units are powered by a Cummins 8.9L 6 cylinder ISL EPA2007 280HP engine paired with a Allison World Gen IV B400R6 6 speed transmission. These units feature 35 American Seating Metropolitan seating, air powered door motors and ride on MAN axles.
This video was filmed on route 4 Central Westbound towards Aldershot GO Station starting at John Street Terminal and ending at the intersection King Road and Plains Road.
