Yes this! So many times he has been found out just because of the timer. I have played in a discord tournament where Dylan was playing as an alt and after the very first game we all figured out it was him.

City / Development debate. Is situational. But once the 4th settle is placed. City takes precedence. Especially as you have no ore. Need to resource for it. Especially as you do not want to be blocked from a settlement expansion due to lacking ore to place a city. City gives flexibility. Resource generation. Thereafter can afford the dev market with 3:1. (Brick port next?)

Time situation improvement is to run through scenarios for board and yourself on their turns. Rank and prioritize Then commit on yours. Question. You debated placing a city vs dev your turn. IMO having 4 settles placed and no ore. it is always a city here. Only question is where for city #1.

You will notice that the turn actually ended with 3 seconds left. I've noticed Colonist glitching quite often the last few months. If people are genuinely thinking, I have no issue with longer turns. You are simply taking the time allowed. To each their own though.

@@wpt729fx we can't be sure because Dylan edits aggressively his videos and removes all parts without action (no movement and no sound). So these three seconds could be clipped out by the video editing software.

@@wpt729fxThe problem for Dylan and players with his kind of "time management" is that they would take 5 minutes to make a decision if the option was given to them. They just can't make up their mind no matter the time that's allowed per turn. It's frustrating to sit there every time a player like Dylan is going to start his turn, because you know you're going to be wasting 2 or maybe even more minutes for him to finally finish his turn. And when that happens every single time, or almost every single time, it becomes extremely aggravating.

I think if they did a 3 or a 5 SFX count it would be much more intuitive. So the SFX is for 6-5-4-3-2 or 4-3-2, not 5-4-3-2-1 as it is now. We say "5-4-3-2-1-Time's up" not "5-4-3-2-Time's up".

Bro takes FOREVER on every turn lol…timing out even on the most straightforward turns. Incidentally I wonder how often people tilt in Catan from slow play….it certainly happens in poker

I like watching him play, but my god if there's anything that will get me raging it's players who use up all their time. Not actually doing anything, but thinking. Honestly, Catan is not that hard of a game that it should take you more than 30 seconds to finish your turn. He really needs to improve his time management.

With all due respect why prioritize the 11/3/10 initially? It did nothing for your hand just overloaded you on sheep. If you had prioritized the 6 with the 3:1 port you would have saved yourself so much trouble. I think you create initial ideas, and then overthink them into thinking they’re either goated or crap.
