Which side are you on? The criteria for running for President is: Be a natural-born citizen of the United States. Be at least 35 years old. Have been a resident of the United States for 14 years. Then there is 22nd Amendment: No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice. The 14th section 3 does not mention President directly, I and fear that is has to be specific to alter the other 2 sections I showed above. The exception would be amendments that apply to all citizens.

The SC wants to wait until after the election. If Trump wins, they will rule he has absolute immunity. If Biden wins, they will rule against presidential immunity. They don't want to rule now because ruling one way would hurt Trump's criminal case; and ruling the other way would give Biden the power to remove Trump.

From what I know, the SC has tremendous latitude in determining if the 14th Amendment applies to DJT's disqualification. They are acutely aware that removing him from the ballot will cause the MAGA's to go ballistic, but the Constitution gives them the legal authority to do so. Tough call. My guess is that the mostly Right-leaning court will find a way to kick the can down the road and avoid the wrath of the Right.

Well there's this pesky thing called Due Process. I know you lefties don't really like due process or laws that don't push your agenda or support your decisions. But if the LAW IS THE LAW then he needs to be indicted on insurrection, charged, given a trial, and found guilty. 7:18 Senators and Representatives shouldn't be the ones choosing the nation's justices, that should be the people's powers. We've seen how one party has used this power as a weapon against an opposing party and an electorate that holds different political views from them, this is all the reason we need to give that power to the people. Justices also shouldn't have lifetime appointments, but term limits. Two terms, five years apiece--tie to the national census. The country doesn't live in a bubble, society is evolving and our laws need to too. The news often talks about politicians being too old, well look out some of our justices. I have no issues with older educated people working and governing, but I do take issue with many of them wanting to stay in power longer because they can, especially when some of them want to blame young people for the country's ills or stagnation. Retire and let young people have a crack at things.

It's not that hard to read the amendment, it's plain and simple. Why does the court take so long in disqualifying Trump from the ballot. A list of all Trump's insurrectionists and enablers in congress etc. should be put to the court to have them all removed from their offices as well.

The problem is, if section 3 is unenforceable, then it equally applies to all sections and all language of the constitution. So, considering the insurrection(which a court of law has declared Trump participated in), if Trump is still naturally eligible to be President today, then the entire constitution is void.
