Hello Tyler and Sonia, (the big child) is Greg he is old enough to iron his uniforms but because he knows that Sonia is doing it he can sleep late, she is spoiling him. Both of you are going above and beyond for them..That is nice that you are thinking of buying Grey and Dave bicycle ..I hope you both had a good lunch on your day date... I'm impressed to see how the peppers are bearing..You are getting a lot of rain the garden is not short of water...

I think he’s old enough to put his self to bed. Wake himself up and iron is closer to school in the morning. He’s doing that because he knows Sonia is going to get up and do it for him that need to stop.

I like Junior, he might be a bit quirky at this age but when he grows older he will appreciate everything you and Sonia have done for him. I have a question in regard to the boys' reading abilities. I have noticed that Junior and even Andre struggle to read certain words that should be on their reading level. Do the schools in the area use a phonics program to teach reading, better yet, does Jamaica have a nationwide phonics program that teaches emergent readers? To put it simply, they need to learn how the vowels affect or change words.

They do...but Junior well behind and trying to catch up...Andre is just in 1st grade and doing we'll with his work so far based on what they've assigned him in class.

Research has shown that kids in the High School years need more sleep. In the USA, schools will schedule elementary schools to start earlier than High schools because of this sleep phenomenon. I agree that the big one, Craig should iron his clothes the night before and get them ready for the next day. Sonia has the Jamaican mother/woman issue of knowing when to release duties to family members.

It's called Habanreo, a cousin to Scotchy. I remembered it as a child in Jamaica, but I used to think it's Scotchy...now I know it's called chocolate Habanreo

Ha, hmm...definitely not chocolate! According to Google, and I agree...It has a fruity flavor with an earthy and smoky undertone. The pepper gets its name from its rich brown color when it ripens.
