I’m a travel nurse, I got my car stuck in the snow during an assignment. While waiting for a tow truck some police officers confronted me. They asked me to do a sobriety test… when the female officer demonstrated, she was slipping and sliding in the snow. I laughed out loud and said, you want me to do something she can’t even do ? And she has sneakers on ! I have high heeled boots on?! They immediately arrested me and charged me with a dui, took me to jail. I had recorded the entire encounter on my smart phone luckily. It took two years and $7k to get the dismissed accusation expunged off of my record. It also cost me a lot of jobs that I wanted because while being a pending case it would show up on my background check. I am not a fan of cops ever since!

And if they did they were suspended with pay until this blew over at which point they were reinstated. Happens literally all the time unfortunately.

One time I got pulled over and my friend had chronic anxiety. They thought he was on something and searched him. Found nothing. The thing about being high is that it actually makes me more relaxed since I do have tremors and and horrible anxiety. So that leg test I would have mastered. It actually helps me with my balance and helps me stop being a spaz so to speak

I get natural cotton mouth when I have too much anxiety. I also act like my high self when in extreme anxiety mode so I feel like most cops would think something is up even if there wasn’t. 😂 I was also raised to dislike and distrust police so that really doesn’t help when I’m trying to avoid eye contact and get flustered. There is more to things they look for than that, but my anxiety is gonna get me into trouble one of these days when/if they are checking for those things 😂
