Not only does Adam Rupp keep the beat going for a full concert...but he also does a drum solo at each show. He does use a looper to assist with layering, but he creates all the sounds.

Love this great classic song from Ben E. King back in 1961. The Home Free guys did an awesome version as always. Love their arrangement on this cover. Great vocal leads by Austin & Rob. Tim's bass really stands out for me in this one. And Adam's tasteful vocal percussion is on point.

I loved their version too. Home Free is known for great harmonies. Left to right is Adam (beatboxer), Rob (glasses) tenor, Austin (redhead) high tenor, Chance (baritone), Tim (bass) with some gray hair. They are all excellent singers and they can all beatbox to a degree. Love them!!! Good one Huda! 😍😄

I'm glad that Ben E. King's classic song has been brought back for new generations to appreciate. I know it's been covered by lots of other artists but Home Free's singing, harmonies & beatboxing are incomparable. You need to check out the a cappella groups VoicePlay and The Bass Gang. Tim Foust from Home Free has done videos with both groups, which is how I discovered and fell in love with them. VoicePlay is very theatrical. The Bass Gang is unique, consisting of four bass singers performing from 3 different continents. One of their latest videos is their version of Skull and Bones, written by Adam Chance of Home Free for UbiSoft for their game of the same name. As to this video for Stand By Me, the guy in the middle, Austin Brown stepped away from the group about a week or so ago to work solo and make a home and family with his bride. You'll see her in the many videos he's done in the last several months under his own name. His replacement is a former member from the groups early days by the name of Adam Bastien. This caused a bit of a problem since the last remaining original member, the beatboxer is Adam Rupp and the formerly newest member is Adam Chance. Now they're called by their last names and Tim & Rob are still Tim & Rob

One of the songs I have been listening to for as long as I can remember. First the LP, later I always had it on one of my cassette tapes, then I got the CD and in recent years I usually have it on one of my playlists. Although many versions had been released in the meantime, it was usually the version by Ben E. King or Otis Redding. But from now on it is the version of Home Free that is on my playlist and no other.😊💖 Alternating the lead between Austin's powerful voice and Rob's silky soulful voice just sounds so beautiful and fantastic. Then the unparalleled vocal percussion, truly phenomenal. The great bass and beautiful harmony are the finishing touch.❤
