Taranto has been a Biloxi/Woolmarket go to place to eat for years. Locals know it well as I expect that’s how you found out about it. A “hole in the wall” restaurant it is not..at least not to us anyway. Welcome to South Mississippi and home of the “ World Famous Hurricane Hunters” from Keesler AFB MS and Cruzin the Coast in October every year.

Yep Taranto’s was a recommendation and it was very good. We enjoyed eating where the locals eat…that’s where we have found some of the best meals.

You always seem to find these hidden spots with nice amenities. I thought maybe I would see some pie or dessert when you stopped for food but I didn't catch it. Always remember dessert! Nice job.

I’ve lived in the area a few years, parents from here. I have eaten at Torontos twice, great food, but I wouldn’t call it a hole in the wall, just not 5 star more “down home” grandmas kitchen.
