why did you use screws when you can epoxy it on just like oem. Because we can see the screws on the other end now

Akash Kapoor the kickstand is 100% OEM. I haven’t modified it in any way. Every V4 I’ve seen has come with that knob.

Tony, Many thanks for this. I’m following all of these videos as I mod my V4S. Are you using gloss or matt carbon fiber? I’m torn between the two and you really need to choose before you start hanging parts. Cheers from Chicago.

Eric Stewart I’m using matte so I can match the OEM carbon. It’s really a personal preference but I’m a little OCD about being uniform. My S1K was all gloss carbon and I loved it. I also love this matte carbon.

How is the carbon fiber holding up? Thinking about going this route but not sure how the heat would react with the carbon fiber.

Christina Park still looks like it’s brand new. No heat discoloration, yellowing or distortion in the weaving. Looks just like it did on day one.
