I’ve been living in Thailand for more than 20years, I’m from the Uk and I’ve lived all over Thailand. General rule of thumb.. if your in the hotspots ie - Pattaya, Bangkok, Chiangmai etc, then you’ll pay top prices, accommodation especially, buy or rent. If your near Issan, or Kanchanaburi etc, you’ll pay much less 👌

Ok, this is "Bang ka Chao" community. I remembered watching a video of Chatchart, BKK mayor and his team running in this community in the morning. I like the fact that there are a lot tree and plants, and it's not far from the city. This house is amazingly beautiful. It is surrounded by nature!

I'm not a fan of cities or modern buildings but I am impressed with the design of this house! Fantastic! I like traditional teak houses on stilts like Jim Thompson's. This house probably can withstand river floods. I actually had fun in BKK when it flooded & I walked in 2ft of water in my hotel lobby. Great memories. I did not know farangs could buy property now either! I dreamed of retiring there but the crowds, loss of wooden buildings, residency, and pollution have somewhat soured me. Ecuador felt okay but then I LOVE THAI CULTURE MAAK, MAAK!

In my opinion, for I'm Thai people and also a Bangkokian, this is more than a worthy offer. First, after I heard that it took less than 30 mins. to get to Sathorn or Prompong which those two districts were in the heart of Bangkok this is what people were looking for especially who work there. Because the traffic jams are everywhere across every roads of Bangkok would take you an hour or more to get you from your household to the workplace. Secondly, you couldn't find a modern house this big in Bangkok with less than a 100 Millions Baht. This is only 23,000,000 Baht OMG! with fully-furnish but, I would like to know whether only the house is sold or together with the land. Nowadays, the land values are sharply increased in Bangkok. If you can get it with that price, you are more than the lottery winner. Finally, Thai people are moving away from the urban pollution and we are more concerned about quality of life to live by. It won't take too long for Thai people to find a place to live with nature and to go to work with a less time like this. For a Bangkokian, I highly-recommend this house with those 3 reasons above.

I think I'm slowly becoming quite impressed and interested in the Thai interiors and their aesthetics. They look very appealing yet also somehow tend to incorporate wood and trees/plants in them which makes them look even more cozy and homely. I'm thinking about adding some changes to my room to be able to replicate some elements in Thai homes. I already have a lot of wooden furniture, just need to add some plants and change the curtains. Congrats on such a beautiful home! Very modern yet very beautiful.

TY mate for showing this place. Last month I made a point of heading there, hired a bike and did a day trip . A few beers at Arttra and just a beautiful day out for a solo traveller that I would not have known about except for you Vlog. Awesome place so close to the craziness of BKK. 🙂

Wow, I really like the design of the house, all steel framed, almost no wall, a lot of glasswork and the whole house is transparent, I bet if you can find a good location to build one, it would be a dream home. I wonder how much did it cost?

This is one of the best and most interesting videos about Bangkok I've watched so far. Actually, your lovable fellow Canuck Greg Jorgensen did a bike tour of the green lung quite some time ago, but telling Dino's story in your unique style with it's high production value is just really special, at least to me. I was only able to spend a week in Thailand a few years ago and 3 days of that was in Phuket, so I didn't get the chance to explore Bangkok in the way that I would like - living vicariously thru you vlogs is such a treat Chris - thank you!

Reminds me of walking into Meiji Park in Tokyo. Once you go a few hundred meters in, the raucous of the world's largest city fades away entirely. These little havens in megacities are remarkable.

It's me! I would love to take that house off his hands. I think its amazing, love the quite, the view, the bike rides, cheap food and especially the home design. I'm about 450K short though, so I guess another lucky person will get this one. I can tell Dino loves his little man, perhaps he would like to adopt another? I'm a bit older but I could totally hang out at his new beach house and help keep his pool clean. 🙂

To answer your question Chris : I am the three worlds guy. One in my home country. Two in rural thailand, near a small town. My only need is a quick Internet. So nope : neither Bangkok nor Samui. I balance the pros and cons for my future life. Make a poll for pros-cons of LoS areas.
