Hello from Canada! I spent a week on Monos in May 1961 as a child. Remember lying on the warm dock gazing down through crystal clear waters at the colourful little reef fish. Magic! So nice they're still there. Thanks so much for bringing back those lovely memories and happy retirement to all!

Now I am even more interested in visiting there with my family one day!! I have only been to Scotland Bay but now I have something more to dream about!! Excellent video!! Keep up the good work!!! Lots of lovely memories are resurrected and brought back to full and vivid life for me with this video. I spend a LOT OF TIME 'Down De Islands' at various homes on Monos and Gasparee as a child and a young teenager born and growing up in TnT. I left the country of my birth FIFTY YEARS AGO for a wider experience and broader view of this planet! The homes back in those days were much more rustic and very basic. There was no electricity and things were a lot more rugged and rudimentary. I always enjoyed my time DDI though - the fishing, the swimming, the liming, the whole atmosphere. The country has changed a whole lot over those intervening years and decades - some things for the better while others - like crime and the cost of living - for the worse. But there will always be a great feeling of relaxation and comfort and freedom that emanated from being close to the sea and with the smell of the sea salt in the air. And the passion for 'Trini Ole Talk' will live on forever - especially if those gathered are 'FIRING A FEW'! Thank you for sharing your video Point Boy. I too am retired after a long, exciting and well travelled career as a United States Army Officer now in 'relaxation mode'. Cheers! All the best to you and your loved ones as well! 😍 🥰

Mr.Point boy, You did put some water in my eyes here,i love this and did share with some family, for the youngsters (De here's & Tardeau's) may not have any idea of the cotton and so forths,i did also heard you mentioned the name 'Andrew' to the youngster in the video,Grand dad was also "Andrew De here", mind you the "De here" family is a very large family with all their offsprings, the place looks great and well kept an the tranquility is still there,on the opposite side should be at that time called "Lovers Bay" where Dr. littlepage had a nice hide out with a perfect view an tranquility.I had great childhood memories off the islands and your voice and coverage puts a special touch to this video compared to some other videos i have viewed, Well done and i will view your other videos.."first i have to stop this water running from my eyes" Stay safe,Godbless.
