I become emotional whenever retirement comes to mind. I offer my heartfelt apologies to those who, after years of diligent work and saving for retirement, faced unexpected events that led to significant losses. This situation is especially harsh for retirees

Today, it’s easier to figure out how to improve your retirement savings. With inflation, you can use a professional portfolio manager to explore different markets passively. The impact of US dollar shifts on assets is complex

Even if finance isn't your strong suit, you can always bring in an expert. My $850,000 retirement fund took a nosedive in April, but I quickly called in a financial advisor. They crafted a smart plan to turn things around, and I’ve since pocketed over $250,000

That’s wonderful! Do you think your advisor might be willing to speak with a stranger? I’m in serious need of proper portfolio allocation

There are a few standout experts in this field. I’ve tested out a handful over the years, but June Renae Matthysse has been my top pick for the last five years. Her performance is consistently impressive, and she’s a real name to know in the industry. Check her out

I found her contact information, emailed her, and arranged a call. Fingers crossed she responds. I plan to start next year with a solid financial footing

@@fireandirie wonderful many had that similar opportunity and didn’t take that keep of faith. I totally understand don’t listen to the bay sayers even if you weren’t retired there’s still good and bad days. Tyler and Sonia live your best life and take it for what it is. The bay sayers get rid of and maintain positive energy. 🙏🏽

I appreciate the candid conversation on retirement. My suggestion take it one day at a time get involved in volunteering or as you said get involved in a faith based group or church. Don’t over think it society says your both too young to retire listen some don’t even get an opportunity!!! Give thanks for both your blessing and keep in mind you can perhaps think about volunteer at a school or maybe think of operating your own business. All will he well. Enjoy. My husband and I have been on almost 4 years and where grateful to God for his blessings

Tomorrow always shows up, most of the time🤣. That is a good point, "don't work until you are only able to trade work for doctor's visits". I have been contemplating this recently. Should I work one more year for a few more "bucks" or get out while my health is good.

@@jojoyah_1236 Good morning my suggestion is get out while you can the economy is only getting worse not better and decide where you’d like to retire and maximize your capital. Many persons wanted to retire and didn’t get an opportunity or are now sick and unable to retire.

I thought you looked kind of young. You are just turning 40!!! You retired early. Sleep is very lacking when you are in the working world. I wake up at 4:30 to get to work by 7:00, that is only 20 drive away. Retirement is right around the corner for me, and I may extend it another year longer to accrue more benefits. I also want to do some traveling when I retire.
