Diversifying your portfolio with international funds can mitigate risk, capture global growth opportunities, and provide a hedge against domestic market volatility.

Take caution bro! I invested in international funds during the 2013 Emerging Markets crisis. Lost 20% overnight. Make sure you do your research

When diversifying internationally, consider factors like market correlations, sector exposure, and tax implications.

This reminds me of when my advisor suggested allocating 20% of my portfolio to developed international markets and 10% to emerging markets. Also, using a currency-hedged ETF to minimize exchange rate risks.

I feel lost now that I'm 39 years old and jobless. With $425,000 saved for an early retirement at age 50, $10,000 in an HSA, and a property that could yield an extra $200,000, what opportunities do I have for passive income?

it's reasonable to consider hiring a financial counselor at this stage, but delaying retiring for a while may be a more wiser choice

I'm wondering if I should merge all of my investing accounts into one. How should I proceed and are there any repercussions I should be aware of if I decide to do this? In addition, I plan to sell my property, which could result in an additional 200K over time. Is it better to diversify over a few different industries or combine everything into one investing account?

These are crucial questions for a financial planner. I met mine at a NYSE summit, and with her help, my wife and I reallocated our $1.7M portfolio between a traditional IRA and a brokerage account. She’s been making investments with our approval and has helped us recover twice our losses. We’re holding steady and carefully navigating more markets

common man, have a second child. Otherwise, the first child will feel alone. It won't for fun for 1st child. You are kind of punishing your kid in this way even though you can afford it. Don't be selfish about your comforts. I am pretty sure you will do good in your career. You will make more money in your 40s than now. Just listen to your wife. I am pretty sure you will enjoy the company of both the kids. Age and health fade away.

Such people don't deserve any kids. Here people are making 4 kids on a 2lakh salary per annum and these rich guys worry about even their first kid being a huge monetary worry on their heads.
