This video is about retirement planning & how my wife and I chose our spot to settle into during the winter months. Over a period 10 years we scoped out locations to spend the winters. Check out the video and see where we chose to live during the frigid Canadian winters. Leave comments to where you are or would like to settle, if you can, for the winter months.

Am I the only one who enjoys all FOUR season? I love the fall when the leaves change. I love the first snowfall, I love the buds coming up in spring and I like to laze in the summer. Each one reminds you of the passing of time and that time is short.

I love 3 of the 4. When I was younger I loved them all. Played hockey and snowmobiled when I was younger. Now Winter (snow and cold) is a nightmare to me. Where I live in Canada it gets to -40c (which is -40f btw). When we leave Arizona its spring and when we head back to Arizona it's fall here.

Just wintered in Rio Grande Valley my first Winter early retired. It is very windy and humid. Still enjoyed it and looking to trying somewhere different. Thanks for the video!

I found the same to be true with the Rio Grande. Lots of nice place there though. Thank you so much for stopping by. Where is your next location going to be?

Interesting. I wish I would have done that. The reason I didn’t is I never thought I would be able to afford it. I’m starting to do it now with about 18 months to retirement. So far I like the gulf coast of Alabama the best.

You still have time. Just a little more rushed. I never did check the gulf coast of Alabama. I may have to take a trip there, becauseI have time! LOL. Congrats on your upcoming retirement! All the best.

@@myretiredlife13 orange beach Alabama specifically. I’ve been to Arizona. That isn’t for me. I have lived in Texas. Maybe I have done some research already lol.

Hello. Great advice - agree that you have to see it in person! Can you share what the lot rent is in that area? We are also looking at MH parks for retirement... thank you and enjoy!

Just over $600 with all utilities. Many are $800-1200 without utilities. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate that.

@@myretiredlife13 awesome! That is less than many parks that we've looked at online! Thanks for sharing - we might be neighbors in a couple years!
