For those that don't know adding weight to a modern fiberglass glider is a preferred flying experience for experience pilots it gives the glider legs and makes it more enjoyable the sink rate is hardly affected with a modern glider

they already have ones that are conformal once they stop spinning.

would it be possible to have some sort of clutch system where the propeller drive motor does the extension and retraction fwd then reverse while clutch is disengaged and when its engaged it turns the prop ?

That's freaking slick lol

Very nice. What’s the max speed the blades still fold at?

what controller are you using for forward and reverse of the lead screw motor? thanks

it sounds like a "a 10 Thunderbold"

Are the extra ounces in the prop retract mechanism weight worth the loss in drag or is this purely a cosmetic upgrade? Great work nonetheless.
@leifvejby80239 жыл бұрын
Absolutely worth the extra weight!
@RoboTekno9 жыл бұрын
***** So it's mainly meant as a cosmetic upgrade, correct?
@leifvejby80239 жыл бұрын
No, the drag reduction is absolutely worth the extra weight. And most gliders need some weight at the front anyway.

Bonjour! I have problems with the prop that gets in unbalance when startup. Do you have information of how both props should open at the same time?? thank you for your reply. Seb
@PaulFriez9 жыл бұрын
bashougardy The propellers must have the same point of rest. This is to be adjusted on the support of aluminum propeller

Paul F Must it be very loose? My propellors move because of the wind. I must tighten the bolts on alu propholder I guess.. Thank you for your reply!

Paul
