For example: 1) Clarifying name of embezzlement account aka "Emergency Collateral Account" 2) When talking about the Mazerati... (Paraphrasing) Well, Germany is more equitable! As a "Thriller", this move had 0 thrills. I figured out the Mathew Modine twist almost immediately. And then I thought maybe the wife was also in on it, which would have a much better twist.

I like 'No Vacancy', thought 'Predators' was a goofy popcorn movie, but this one sounds like it would inspire me to watch 'Speed' with Keanu & Sandra on a bus with a bomb 😂 Liam has been phoning it in with these action movies. His cameo in 'Atlanta' was a step away from the monotony. Thank you for powering through and sharing your thoughts on this eye roll of a movie!! Shout out to Nick for "obtuse, patriarchal parapet" which has now been added to my mental rolodex 😁

I'm getting Bruce Willis vibes from the recent quality of Liam Neeson movies. He's an awesome wonderful action hero but he is getting older. I think it's a great way for him to work and make some money by sitting the whole movie in a car. Although his movies are going downhill in production, I have respect for him that he's working ❤️

I haven’t been into a Liam film since the second Taken. Now, while a little flimsy in parts, “Marlowe” was actually pretty good. The old, hard-boiled detective fit him well.

I’m sorry, but sadly my Tesla, model y, caught on fire & any Tesla that catches on fire burns blue & takes FOREVER to extinguish🤯. They tried using a green foam first, nothing, then used “I think” salt water, nothing. They finally had to literally put our Tesla in the reservoir & it took almost 2 days for the fire to go out🤯🫨. So just think of that when you’re buying a Tesla & might get in a wreck😢. Electric cars are super scary, but I will admit seeing the blue flames underwater was pretty lol, silver lining… I guess. But we laughed at our screening & honestly a lot of people laughed & this isn’t a comedy, just bad writing & no one doing the proper research. It was like if Lifetime got to try a theatrical release😂 & tried to pull men into the theater with Liam. Liam needs to really move on, when you can’t tell the difference between each of his movies because they all blur together, try something new. But at least he’s getting his coins, I guess. Lastly we now have a G63 & it has the same screen layout & nope, you can’t turn those off while driving, just change the view/look of them. So that means the GLS had to have been turned off for those scenes😂 I realize most movie vehicles are on a stage or a trailer-bed, but again, just REALLY poor attention to detail. This is long, bc please save your $$$, this will be on a streaming platform in no time lol. Just pick one of his other movies & pretend it’s called Retribution & it’ll be the same, I promise. There’s a lot on Prime for free👍🏼.

In the beginning of the movie he watching the news of a car blowing up but he the wife and the police think it’s him the whole movie didn’t make sense.

glad to hear others were annoyed by this movie. most of the plot made so little sense that I had to watch the spanish version right after with hopes something had been lost in translation. def a better movie. feels like some scenes are just lifted from the original without understanding the context, like the lady cop

The scene when he was asked to shoot his boss had some major issues. He had already told his boss that he can't leave the car. So he had to shoot him from quite a distance. The boss saw the gun, but did not even put his head down try to drive away. You could argue, that the boss was also the one that had placed the gun in the car. So there might not have been a bullet in the gun. However not putting a bullet in the gun might have revealed his boss as the villain. Another issue: At one point he told the villain that he is in control now, because the villain needed him for the money. Wouldn't that have been the right point to let the kids out of the car? And when he drove into the Tiergarten Tunnel and noticed that there is no reception down there, wouldn't that be the perfect place to stop the car and let the kids out? Why did he continue to the other side of the tunnel, where reception might have returned?

I'm not going to lie. I find Liam's B movies to be dumb fun. Marlowe had the potential to be good but bored me to tears. At least these films aim low and usually succeed in passing a few hours.

He works hard, and his family treats him that way?? He's Def. an absent dad and kids probably see/ feel the tension between mom and dad. So kids didn't bother me, but everything else y'all said 😅
