Mega voices are made with multiple velocity layers. So in different velocity ranges you will get different sounds. They also have special noises like slides and fret noises in higher octaves. When creating a style with mega voices you would need to control the velocity of each note in the step edit page. The special noises in the higher octaves will not work well in normal NTR/NTT mode. They play different sounds when you change chord. But they will not transpose to different pitches. To make the sound the same irrespective of the chords, you can set the NTR guitar to the track

Hi, I have a Tyros3 and i would like to know how change the pitch of drums in the Style Creator and how to make a realistic guitar strumming like the presets... I also have a Casio CtX5000 and it's Hard to find tutorials about guitar patterns like yours!

I know Yamaha is the Best in Styles and always i have Yamaha. But may be You have something for Casio mzx500 or may be a program ti convert fron Yamaha to Casio.thanks a lot very useful info for Yamaha owners. In the past we havent that info.

How can I make a style track use one of the user-based voices? I tried using registration but the style keeps reverting to the source voice instead of the intended custom voice derived from the source voice. In this case, I am looking to change the base voice to a user-created voice. Please let me know, thanks!

You can save the edited user voice as a sound to the user sound bank and then use that in the track.

@ArrangerTutorials no, it doesn't work. The track sound reverts to the original ROM sound. It just doesn't make sense but also doesn't make sense to export it to a sound pack and the import it. Am I missing something? And yes I do save the state into a registration bank when changing sounds of a track but only between ROM sounds. It doesn't work for user stored edits of sound. The style reverts to the ROM or expansion pack sounds

I tried with a user sound and it got reset to the factory sound later. Need to check what is causing it. Importing it into an expansion pack should work because the pack will have a bank change number and the sounds will have program change numbers for each. But i will keep checking for a solution and update you here when i find aomething

It will not change in style creator. It will change only when you play the style. Are you facing issue when playing the style? What are the NTT/NTR settings assigned for the track?
