Footage has been digitally transferred from a crusty old Betamax tape.

Anybody feel that the ice cream company's are giving u less Ice cream in the carton and charging higher prices.. The company is charging close to $5or 6 for 1 1/2 quarts of ice cream which is a lot compared to the half gallon you used to get for half the amount. I always remember the 1/2 Gallon cartons were no more than between 1.99 and 2.99. Which was a great price for the amount. I wish the company's would bring back the half gallon sizes again. Also I wish the 8oz yogurt would return. I loved the old Dannon 8oz containers with the top. Wish Dannon would bring these back.

​@@liztrainer895 yes. I remember the half gallon containers, as a kid, too. Everything is smaller and about the same or more. Shopping as a adult a flipped when I noticed Kraft charging more for less product. I was on the phone with them in the supermarket complaining.

Did you ever watch the history of some of the first commercials dating back from the beginning of television ? They make the commercials irritating on purpose to make it stick in your mind so you will buy their products.

Somewhere in the late 90s it seems that advertisers collective decided that violently assaulting people's senses and appealing to their depravity was more profitable than putting even slight effort into their commercials. Sad to see how far the advertising game has fallen since these awesome commercials.

Great reel from my market as a kid. The Kool Aid spot made think that those kids are horrible businessmen, because a $1 car wash...unheard of. Cost of materials, etc. Not charging enough. Even for 1984.
