I know how you feel about game condition, especially for something like this. I also hate buying loose games but will do it at garage sales if they are cheap enough. I use them as standings until I get a better copy. Sometime you get lucky and find the box later on. It’s very cool that you have a game resurfacing machine. Are they expensive?

The resurfacer is like $150.00. But I think it pays for itself.

LI ToyGuy Yeah, that sounds like good value.

if you buy a lot of used games from garage sales, eBay, or mecari... A lot of the games will have scratches. So in time it definitely pays for itself.

LI ToyGuy I’ve never heard of mecari but I buy from garage sales when I can. I actually picked up a dozen disc based games (among other things) this weekend and was thrilled to see that they had no scratches whatsoever. That’s unusual from what I’ve experienced. I’d love to see your game resurfacing machine in action if it’s ever in the cards for you to do a video about how it works, etc. For the price, it might make sense for me to buy one but I didn’t not know anything about them. Cheers M

Aw man, we have our first Retro Game Treasure box coming our way and to be honest, this isn't filling us with much confidence... Sorry to see this pal... Hope your other box (VGM?) is better!
