I'd definitely be interested in the pack if it was for clip studio paint. That being said, I bought the risograph pack and a few other few brush and texture packs from them based on a longer riso tutorial you did and have just started playing around with them. I love adding that analog hand printed feel.

Thanks. So both in Procreate and Fresco you do raster files with these brushes, cannot do vector images (to be able to size them freely)?

Correct, brushes like these will not work in Fresco as they are image dependent. If they were vector it would involve hundred of thousands of points and still wouldn’t look as good and the file would be unwieldy.

Hey Chris. I always love your videos and how you take us with your process. What I wanted to ask you regarding your new iPad and Procreate/ Fresco. Mine gets super hot from the Center of the screen colouring for a longer time. Do you also have this issue? I don’t know if it’s normal. I know there are plenty people having it and taking about it in Reddit or the procreate support but none of the KZbinrs ever talks about it. I don’t know if I should make a step to the Apple Store or if I should get used to it 🥲

It’s interesting that you favor Riso in Procreate as opposed to Fresco since you were practically an influencer (unpaid by Adobe yet) for Fresco. Not picking on you since in the end being agnostic about tools is the way to go, since one should always use what works best.

I still mainly use them in Fresco, but it’s nice to not have to remember what colors coincide with the number riso group.

Will you restock your 1000 days another 1000 days drawing physical books? Do you have these riso brush pack for Adobe fresco and Illustrator? I don't use Photoshop. 🤔

I don’t think I’ll be able to restock those books as I self published them years ago and had to order 500 copies. They’re too many pages to reproduce with print on demand options. My retro supply co bundle is available for Fresco (and Photoshop bc Fresco uses PS brushes) and Procreate. Illustrator can’t use raster based brushes like this. Because illustrator is vector you’re quite limited in what you can do with more analog textures.

Yeah, sometimes. I used to use it all the time. I just lean towards Fresco because it does everything I need to do all in one app.
