This was a great video. Really enjoyed watching this and noticing the exact point I have opted to do something different and ended up with a very different sound, not necessarily what I was after though. These sounds are a lot closer to what I've been looking to do.

Thanks dude! And for sure, a lot of this stuff is just like being familiar with how you'd program stuff on an actual analog synth, and in the days of Massive/Serum I think it's often forgotten in favor of wavetables and this and that haha. There's a bunch of great 'synth recipe' sites online that will show some leads on like Juno synths and whatnot, highly recommend digging around. It's a great way to learn these kinda 'retro' patches without too much hassle/trial and error.
