I’ll have to go back and give it a couple more listens before I decide. I was kinda leaning towards Layzie as well, but I’m not quite 100% sure tho

Bro you got months if not years of content on bone alone. They are a rabbit hole. This is the funkiest beat by DJ-Uneek, he definitely was a massive part of their sound, nothing at that time sounded like bone, the deep beats with dark vibes and high chimes gave it that graveyard horror movie sound, without him I don't think bone would be where they are today, with other producers, it's still fire, they are still all super talented, but it just doesn't have that grimy vibe like it use to.

Yea man I watched a reaction 1 time and they said when they heard bizzy bone on notorious thugs, it reminded them of Eminems delivery, they said Eminem had to take a little bit of influence from them. Not copying or exactly biting their style but some influence. I saw an interview they did with Eminem and they asked if he was a rapper like will smith or more like bone thugs, he kind of smiled and said he likes bone thugs, but he said it was somewhere in between the 2 styles. He shouts them out in his track "these demons" that recently came out it was dope af. I wish they would collab

Appreciate your insight on this bro. And hopefully they give us a collab sooner rather than later. That would be a 🔥🔥🔥 mix between the 2 for sure!

Still one of the rawest BTNH tracks, for me. Like you pointed out, it's the storytelling. BTNH not only have the coldest flows, but when they combine it with storytelling ... you can't go wrong. Krayzie's verse here is probably my favorite on the entire EP (COACU). Also, (2nd verse) Layzie (to me) is on top of his game when he tells a story, like he did on "Battlezone". If you haven't check it out yet, I recommend it (via BTNHResurrection). In case it's not yet been answered. Order of verses here: Krayzie Layzie Bizzy
@RetroQuinReacts2 жыл бұрын
Appreciate u for this comment bro! I’ll look into it and fasho. That storytelling is top tier for me. I don’t think a lot of ppl really understand the craftiness of being able to tell a story while kicking a fire verse. It’s next level stuff 🔥🔥🔥

They rapped about what they lived. Robbing people and home invasions and many more in their raps but just in a story telling subliminal obviously not to incriminate themselves. These guys were the real deal and their style is what set them apart from the rest. Every song has a message and realness and truth to it if you listen closely.
