Third, just got my Odin Pro this week and LOVE IT. Already streamed PC games, set up ROMS. Wish I had bought it months ago, don't know what I was thinking getting a Retroid Pocket 3.

The Odin lite seems like the way to go pretty comparable emulation to the pro and with the Wi-Fi 6 it makes it ideal for streaming and cloud gaming.

From what I could find recently the Lite having comparable emulation seems to no longer be true, as updates to the higher-end Android emulators (Dolphin and Aethersx2) should make them better on the Pro (I remember some saying that currently about 75-80% of GC games can run fine on the Pro now, whereas before both it and the Lite could only run about 50% of GC games. For anything not GC/Wii/Ps2 they're still basically the same though.

I have the pro 256g model, and I love it! Great for android games, streaming and emulation, though I do wish the citra,skyline and vita3k emulators had more compatibility with games. The only other complaints I have is how the joysticks should stick out a bit more and there’s screen tearing whenever I use google chrome, but thankfully I don’t use it for much web browsing anyway. I also thought about getting the RP3+, though I don’t see what that has to offer aside from the cleaner interface and being more pocketable and lighter

As of Android platform... AYN Odin 256gb internal storage and 8gb of ram Pro model is the best way to go... Since Vita3K emulator is out... those little 64gb storage internal is out of commission... Due to update and games installation...🧐🤔... Steam deck is Linux platform... AYA Neo series...GPD... One X Player... AYN Lucky are Windows Platform... Choose base on your need and $$$... And enjoy your game... Me, just rocking with my Sammy Tab S7 11" 256gb internal and 512gb Sammy Evo micro-Sd Card... because I enjoy Drawing Tablet and Light Retro Gaming using Emulators for PSX...PSP...PS2... Treating this handheld as king of emulation is a bit overrated isn't it? There are other better handhelds with snapdragon chipset out there. Snapdragon 845 have this kind of heating issues when playing games.

If we look at this in context with it's purpose, price point, age, and perfomance. It's purpose as a portable console aimed at emulation, cloud gaming and Android gaming. The price point is probably the weakest one in my opinion. It's a little on the expensive side for what it is and does Age; its a 2 year old portable console, at the time I think it did a decent job compared to its competitors at the time of release. And lastly performance, true there are many chipsets out there that can out-perform the AYN Odin, chips can only get better, cheaper and accessible. So taking these into consideration, I personally I think at the time of it's release it did more than what was out on the market at the time and to compared it's competitors. That being said, you can easily use your phone with a lot better perfomance than this and slap on a external controller.

The Odin has active cooling, and the chip is overclocked, performing closer to an SD855+. It doesn't thermal throttle.

Um no. This device was one of a kind at Launch. There was no competition when released at all. Like none... So yes.
