I'm Generation X, 1967. Very few people had nose rings. Like near statistically zero.

I suspect it was location specific. I'm Gen Jones. The first teacher I saw with a nose ring was one who came out for a summer cruise in 1993 from the Seattle Science Center. She was definitely Gen X. Nose rings I was familiar with but that was the first teacher or other person who would be a role model for children with a nose ring.

I’m gen X 1976, and nose rings were quite popular when I was in high school.

I think it was more a ‘90s thing. Didn’t see them in high school but they were relatively popular when I was in my 20s. I didn’t have one then as, like many of us, I enlisted in the military… but I have one now 😊

I am Gen X and I never sported a nose ring. I did however own a mood ring. I also engaged in my share of both pot and ecstasy, but I did try acid till I was much older. I don’t know, but I do believe that an awful lot of crossover took place between all three generations. It really depended upon one’s local influences.

Omg, I probably still have a mood ring! How about clogs and toe socks with huaraches with tire bottoms? I’m a boho, flower child, hippie, peace freak! ✌🏻💙🇺🇸

Boomer girls wore floaty dresses. Gen Jones wore Levi 501s and concert t-shirts or gause tops.

I am Gen-X and I remember life before Star Wars. I also remember the Cold War with Russia, but no nose rings. We wore Toughskins in elementary school and blue jeans in high school. We grew our hair long as kids on dirt bikes and cut them back for high school dances. We witnessed the birth of cable TV and MTV. We were born between 1965 and 1985. That's twenty years and the definition of a generation. Not some 7-year offshoot that's wining for attention.

I was born 1961. I always thought I was a Boomer and an Xer combined. Tried Pot in 76 and didn't like it al all. Did Acid once. What I really liked was Mushrooms

Be well I’ve done the mosh pit, but not on purpose. I was at an offspring concert and I promise you I wasn’t there March but it started around me. Again, Gen X but not because I was moshing that’s ridiculous. I’m assuming by now after watching all of this and objecting to all of this that this is satire… At least I hope so.

I was born in '62 and always seemed to be arriving just as things changed. In high school, my sophomore year was the first year that sophomore boys weren't required to take jrROTC due to the ending of the Draft. I turned 18 without needing to register for Selective Service, but had to before the end of the year. When I started engineering in 1981, the previous semester was the last time they taught the slide rule. I was a game room attendant in college, but never big into video games like the Gen X kids who were all the ones 17 and under when I was working. It was like being a bartender to teenagers. They might get drunk on PacMan or Donkey Kong but they also would tell you their problems.

I was born in 1967 and partially raised by a WWII veteran. So I always felt I didn’t quite fit exactly in the Gen X group as much as I did the Boomers? Maybe Jonseers is more fitting?

X’r here 1966. You are dead wrong about nose rings. Also mosh pits were only a small percentage of X’rs.

Thanks, enjoyed the video! I will have to differ on the wars a bit to note the Boomer's wars would be the Korean and Cold War. Also, I'm curious as to the early ending of Boomer's (1953?), my opinion is it should be about 1960. Have a good one!

Nobody wants to be a boomer anymore. It was just the opposite back in the 90s.
