Retro Style Edison Halloween Card

This is just a quick and easy Retro style Halloween card using Tim Holtz new die Edison. If you have any questions, I'm always happy to answer. Please remember to be kind in your comments and to each other.

What kind of grey mat were you using to hold your paper while ink blending? Also what is the larger blue mat at right? Thanks. I wish you would have shown putting the black panel on the white card. How did you get such a perfect thin margin?

The grey mat is Tim Holtz Media grip mat you can find it here shrsl.com/471m5 The blue mat is a silicone mat for putting hot pans or dishes on. I found that on Temu. As for the thin margin I just cut the black cardstock slightly smaller than a A2 size card probably about 1/4" smaller on one side and the top.

Hi Tonya! I just got this die and had a question. Is there a reason you use 2 layers of each die cut? This is my firs TH die so I have been watching YT videos on how others are using this die. Still learning about card making and TH dies.

Hi, I used the two layers just to add extra dimension. It is completely optional. On my other projects with this die, I only did a single layer of each, but because this one was more of a clean and simple card, I wanted that extra dimension. If you don't want to cut extras but want extra dimension, you can always use foam tape instead. I hope this helped, and if you have any other questions, I'm happy to help.
