It's a real shame they discontinued the control switch pedals for GR around the time of GR5. It limits the plugin to being studio/home studio only. It would have been great to be able to use the standalone version for live performances (assuming they still provide a standalone version with it ?)

Standalone is always avaliable, and any midi controller works but it need to be set. The really shame is that they removed the keyboard shortcut.

you can still use any generic MIDI controller and program it inside the plugin

I have GR7 Pro and Bias FX 2 Elite and much prefer Bias FX 2. With Bias FX you have an ENORMOUS free tone community where you can search for, test, and download user generated presets. GR7 doesn't have that for some reason which is a HUGE disadvantage
