Ive got my documents set up the same as urs, but when I change the blend mode to overlay, the pattern is still showing on the black background instead of being just on the text

I found a technique regarding an easy and effective color separation for merch design that will work for most high quality images but I don't want to spread the technique. Still, I want to know if this is will really work or I might be wrong.

I downloaded this. But I CANT get my own text to look like that I double clicked the smart object and then I type in my text on the new page "layer 9" but nothing happens... PLEASE HELP

You show us that it works with a logo but not with TEXT please help I've bought your silver package and come across similar problems with your tutorials I could really use some guidence WHY is this not working with my text? as I explained in the previous comment I did as instructed but nothing changed it doesn't look like your once I insert my text in to the smart object PLEASE HELP

In the smart object there is already a text layer, simply just change the text and font to your liking. Results may vary based on the width and style of the font

@@DoronStudio so I double click the smart object layer (1-3) or (4-6) like it says in this tutorial it opens a new tab titled Layer 9, then I go to the text (in the layers) and change it and its just plain... has barley any effects at all. looks a little grainy and best...
