This was my favorite game at the time. Ken was my best character. I’ve seen many good Guile players, but never seen one this good with connected combos like this. Great skill!!!

I still remember, It was my first time playing this game and I selected Blanka. I wasn't even familiar with the controls. The best player at that time in my locality was a guy who was a guile player and he was a pro. I defeated him right away in consecutive rounds and the entire arcade game parlor went crazy as I was a lot younger than him and most of the people knew that I was a novice. I agree, I did it by fluke but those were the days!! PS: He felt humiliated and challenged me again and he lost the first round when we were fighting the second time. Everyone was in shock. I felt like a king. However he bounced back winning the next two rounds with perfect score and my short lived hype was over within a minute. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Every time our hero is getting smashed by an uppercut (Shoryuken or Tiger Uppercut), all I can hear is "WHATCHA JUMPIN' FOR, BOY?" and "DON'T JUMP!" in Smug's voice. Like...for real...stop jumping at a downed CPU opponent with an uppercut.

Just in case you're not seeing it, the CPS2 engine has a flaw that is being exploited. When using "rapid-fire" normal light attacks (light punches or kicks), you can chain from a crouching light to *any* standing attack or from a standing light attack to any crouching attack. That's why you're seeing chains from crouching light kick to close standing fierce. Many agree that this is the most broken version of Guile in existence...and that was before this flaw came to light.
