Okay okay okay hear me out Treacherous Mansion is one of the best if not, THE best Mansion in the game. I mean it's just showing you what you'll be in for, the final mansion, the final area, suspended above a waterfall of death. The intro cutscene perfectly plays what you're in for. Not to even mention 3:09 I love that so much, just really gives the vibe that there is no going back once you're past that point. I mean the entire first mission is literally going through the basement of this goddamn mansion. It's the biggest and hardest one yet. Ambush Maneuver was really cool too, you think it's about to be the final boss, but it's a trick, and you're suddenly fighting boolosus and the rest of the boos! But Paranormal Chaos really does it, it just shows how big this mansion really is, the final challenge before you face king boo and the final boss ghost. The gauntlet of the portal, and really just felt like you were catching the final batch of ghosts left in evershade valley, King Boo must have summoned them all through the portal to wreak Havoc, his final attempt against Luigi. Paranormal Chaos' intro goes hard AF! But really seals the deal is after Stop the nightmare. The cutscene, you think you just beat the game, going back to E. Gadd to fix the darkmoon, but someone isn't done with you yet, the dark moon piece goes back, and you're instantly thrown into the final battle, its intro, finally putting King Boo and Luigi face to face, King Boo taunting luigi with the painting. Like I saw another comment say. It's one of the best King Boo boss battles ever, because it's just Luigi and King Boo, no outside help, nobody left on King Boo's side, nobody there to help Luigi. The stakes are the highest they could be, King Boo despises Luigi so much he didn't care about the dark moon anymore, he made it completely personal the second Luigi entered that portal.
