RetroArms V2 Split vs normal AEG Gearbox Cylinder fitment

Glad you pointed this out ,i used a shs all in one cylinder for my normal retro arms gearbox but haven't built the split one yet but this should make things a little easier for me, thank you

Retroarms got my gearbox and checked, they claimed that this is not defect... so this is not resolved.

@@user-pl2sf2tv4s really , that is a pretty crap go and you have me thinking that I should check my split retro arms gearbox's i have a few normal one's here and a split gearbox but mine are for gel blasters but the only difference is shorter tappet plate rails to accommodate the bigger gels

@@drewmurray6480 thanks for the info, as seen in video, tappet plate is not in play, so should not be the issue. would you please share if you see the same issue in your split gearbox please?

Yeah it was FYI just thought i would mention it basically to say that they are exactly the same and that is the only difference as far as i know but pretty sure it's the laylax cylinder they are supposed to be higher end parts and stuff but that was weird ,did you measure the length of both cylinders and find the no name one was a little shorter

Also asked a friend who builds alot of blasters and he's built over 12 split retro arms gearbox's and has never run into this problem and he used shs cylinders in all of the builds, he actually sent me some footage of the split retro arms gearbox he built last week but it's running a aztech innovations Apache tappet less cylinder head system they are a awesome bit of kit and you don't have to worry about tappet plate timing 😉 and they are a Australian design and company. Aztech innovations is owned by azraels armoury they are a registered emg aps distributor here in Australia and they do a airsoft Apache not just gel blasters, check em out

Sorry man, missed out your message, i sent the gearbox and video to RetroArms, and they tested and tried saying there is no defect, and return back the item. so this is not resolved at all. have you manage to solve it?
