I purchased this Bantha for my collection. I love it. Simply opening the packaging and adding it to my display took me back to when I was that six-year-old kid excited to get a new Kenner Star Wars toy to not only play with but to escape to an imaginative world that truly made for a fun, unforgettable childhood.

Spectacular! I am SOOOO glad I pre-ordered this Stan Solo Bantha back in August of 2021. Boom! 6 months later these have started shipping! My bad news: I also pre-ordered a Bantha by that other guy WAY BACK in August of 2020, 18 months and counting, and still no Bantha from that other guy. Many fans ordered the the other guy’s Bantha nearly 18 months before I did! They have waited nearly 3 years! That’s 36 months since the campaign began! Stan Solo did his campaign in only 8 months! That other guy’s excuses feel more and more like a scam. Order from Stan Solo, he makes and delivers!

Thanks Michael! :) ...I agree that the fans are doing the best work right now. All of the issues that anti-repro people bring up don't provide a solution how we can finally get what we've adored for so long, like this great Stan Solo Bantha. If the fans want it, deserve it, make it, share it, and make it well, ... it is a heavy burden arguing against that. It smacks of being anti-fanbase. Great Bantha!

Stan Solo Creations is the best thing since classic Kenner. I’ve been waiting for this review, great job! Some people have complained about the brown paint on the saddle, but if you don’t like it just remove it or paint over it.

Another quality product from Stan Solo the business that actually delivers to its customers. I paid for it six months ago and here it is in the flesh all completed and looking like the real deal. Of course I also made the mistake of backing the other fake Bantha from TFSB, but that was over two years ago now. I've still heard nothing about when it will be made and neither has anyone else I've spoken to. I know that three or four plaster of paris version's have been made and circulated to people on KZbin like Kevin Sexton to show off. In the vain hope that it will put people off the scent and convince them that their money isn't lost. I think that after this release TFSB needs to refund people's money so that they can go and actually buy a Bantha instead of holding onto a false promise. The fans certainly are doing the best work but TFSB isn't doing anything.

Stuff like this lights a fire in my belly as well, your excitement is warranted. I don't collect Star Wars, I'm a never-die Godzilla fan but the same principles apply; when the company doesn't produce and industrious fans show what they're made of, it benefits the fans all over the world. I only wish I had the means and the tools to do this stuff myself, it's so exciting to think about producing stuff the fans crave, which is why I've been supporting indie fans making their own figures of never-produced Godzilla monsters, because it fills out a collection and I like to hope sends a message to the toy companies. I wish I was able to emulate the work of Stan Solo in my own fandom and that's I think the highest praise I can give him, his work is so good and so well-conceived that it makes us who see it want to do something akin to it, to imitate that kind of quality greatness and spread the fandom ingenuity. It's really awesome, it may seem like a simple thing to outsiders but to me it's pioneering that will send ripple effects far and wide. Thanks for sharing, Michael.

I don't collect retro Star Wars figures myself but I like to keep an eye on what's being produced and Stan Solo has consistently put out some of the finest looking retro inspired collectibles to date. From his Ephant Mon variants to his selection of astromech and protocol droids, the detailing, quality and overall aesthetic is second to none and almost impeccably Kenner! This Bantha is gorgeous and will enhance the collection of any Star Wars retro collector. I will continue to watch with keen interest what Stan Solo produces in the future.

But I have to confess that I do enjoy when Michael rakes the multi- billion dollar toy companies over the scorching hot coals for their BS business practices. Michael please patent your “fans are doing the best work” - you speak for a great silent majority of collectors who are very happy to see competition for the giant companies that now control 90% of the market - competition would be wonderful again in this market! I want my kids to be able to play with these toys again (I know a $1.99 figure is not in the cards anymore, but how about some full figure cards at the stores at least?) - the action figure market is still alive! I ordered one of these a couple of weeks ago but I don't think mine will show up until sometime in March. It is my first foray into the Stan Solo line of figures and I don't think I'll be disappointed! I would call this Kenner continuation rather than a KO (as one was never released). The problem is that I don't own a Tusken Raider. I'll have to fix that!
