I adore these. Even tho I'm younger and wasn't around when these videos came out, they give me an other worldly feeling of nostalgia. TY!

Me too! And since I've gotten into music production I listen to these videos and find a huge array of brilliant sound bytes to sample! Sleepy TV, interesting, and musical properties to the uploads make this one of my favourite channels on KZbin!! Do you also find it a scary insight into information advertiser's and governments do their best not to mention these days?

@@RaverOperator yes! It's a little creepy and almost sinister bits of info that make me stop and think. That stuff didn't disappear, it's adapted into today's world and things that we have no idea about. I'll have to try sleepyTV, thanks!

@@UserHandle0001 :). Sleepy TV was a reference to this channel and how I feel sometimes watching it! I'm not sending you on a rabbit hole looking for something that doesn't to my knowledge exist! But glad you get the same feeling sometimes with the retro (but still current info!)

I almost thought the segment with Jennifer Grey was a documentary, because she's such a good actress and seemed genuine (and I didn't recognize her at first). But then they started interviewing the love interest guy, who wasn't quite so natural an actor, and it gave it away.

The short clip from "Beyond Immortality" (thank you for the archive link) from the 80's perfectly recaps our advances in health over the recent centuries.. and a perfect way to possibly inoculate those anti-science individuals just how much better their life is now, and what they are trying to revert us to with their hatred of science and technology. And no, you didn't add the warped audio in your clips I discovered.. they were in the source!

Would be great to see the full version of FREEDOM 2000. That's famous actor long associated with SF films, Richard Carlson, as the male robot's voice. Carlson was involved in several science-based tele-show specials around the late 50's early 60's, in partnership with Dr. Frank Baxter.

That is NEVER ``Jessica Scott``. That is JENNIFER GREY, soon to be world-famous in Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller`s Day Off. I know that`s her, it couldn`t be anyone else, but I don`t know why a budding young actress would pretend to be some random high school kid when she could be boosting her fledgling career.

I just wonder how old this cartoon really is, they were close with calling out how we Earthlings will end our game... Except heat domes, they said nothing of heat domes wich is sad because they make it hard to walk my dogs as the ground burned their paws. In the future as in our present time, we don't actually care about dogs.
